Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin broke his hand, and now sources are saying that it happened when he hit a member of the team's equipment staff.
According to ESPN, Griffin got into an argument while the Clippers were on the road in Toronto and reportedly hit the individual inside a restaurant and then followed the man outside where the NBA star hit him again. The confrontation resulted in both Griffin and the equipment staffer being sent home.
The staffer suffered injuries to his face and Griffin fractured his hand, ESPN reported.

Griffin had been out with a quadriceps injury and was expected to return to the court on the team's current road trip. The Clippers are set to play the Indiana Pacers in Indianapolis Tuesday before facing the Hawks in Atlanta Wednesday and the Los Angeles Lakers Friday.
Griffin's hand injury is expected to keep him out "a matter of weeks, as opposed to days." The Clippers have won 11 games and have only lost three while Griffin has been out.
The incident came just over a year after Griffin was cleared on one count of misdemeanor battery after 39-year-old Daniel Schuman claimed the NBA star hit him and grabbed his cellphone at a Las Vegas nightclub.
Griffin never appeared in court and the charge against him was dropped in March after prosecutors said they didn't have enough evidence to prove the allegations were true.
