Officers from the Fellsmere Police Department arrived on the scene at approximately 7:45 a.m. after Yessenia Zamarippa's boyfriend called them to report that he had been beaten with a belt across his back because his girlfriend was displeased with his reluctance to get out of bed, according to KTRK-TV.
