After a car crashed and burst into flames on the side of the interstate in Memphis, Tennessee, over the weekend, witnesses swear God was looking over the man trapped inside the vehicle.
According to video of the incident captured on camera, a crowd of people rushed to the vehicle and attempted to free the man trapped inside. According to WMC-TV, witnesses say the man veered off the road and hit a pole after he was side-swiped by another driver.

"Everybody started getting stuff to bust the windows," one witness, Elicia Bridgforth, told WMC. "We had to get the man out of this car."
Another witness, Corey Kilpatrick, added, "All I could find was a gallon of water, so I went back and wet him so maybe it wouldn’t burn him and I could keep him as moist as possible."
Finally, though, with the aid of a jack iron and a K-9 officer, the good samaritans were able to pull the man from the burning car and take him to safety.
Another woman, Anita Irby, captured the entire incident on camera. Her video, which she uploaded to Facebook, has already received more than 1 million views.
I just saw GOD on 385. I'm always in awh of his wonders but today just blew my mind. This car ran off the road and hit a metal post and burst into flames not to mention the passenger was trapped inside as the car was filled with smoke the flames began to fill the inside. THE ENTIRE EXPRESSWAY STOPPED and people ran from their cars trying to break the windows and open the doors of this mans car to free him, as they were the others went up in prayer for God to deliver this man from the paws of the devil.... Now it appeared our prayers was in vain because he couldn't move and the flames had reach the inside of the truck.But God!!!!!! .....the flames were on the inside but the way my God is set up The Way It Look Like and what it is ,None of the flames touched him and even after the car exploded once All these God blessed people ran back up ...Now the passenger even begged them to just let him die . End of Story he's Alive and well. ...... Jesus thats my Goddd

Moments after the man was pulled to safety, witnesses said they heard loud "popping noises" coming from the flame-engulfed vehicle.
"I said, 'This car is going to blow. Lord, please let me get this man out,'" Bridgforth added in her comments to WMC.
The vehicle was a total loss. However, police recovered one item from the car that was seemingly untouched by the extremely hot flames: a Bible.
"That is God," Eugene McNeil told WMC. "If you don’t believe it, I don’t know what to say."
