Megyn Kelly's Assessment of Donald Trump's Super Tuesday Victory Speech: 'There Were a Few Jabs, But...
March 02, 2016
"He wasn’t full of the normal bombast."
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has certainly had some very public issues with Fox News host Megyn Kelly, but that didn't stop Kelly from offering up a seemingly positive assessment of the businessman's Super Tuesday victory speech.
Kelly said that Trump — who soared to victory in Alaska, Arkansas, Georgia, Massachusetts, Tennessee, Vermont and Virginia — was "striking a reasonable tone" and that "he wasn’t full of the normal bombast" during an address following his wins on Tuesday evening.
"There were a few jabs, but sounding presidential, which will sort help some of his detractors see him in a different light, perhaps," Kelly said.
The Fox News host's comments came after her co-host Bret Baier said that Trump's news conference "kinda looked presidential."
