One Chicago hot dog stand is having a lot of fun with the political controversy surrounding Donald Trump's "small" hands.
The Wiener's Circle is offering a brand-new product called "The Trump Footlong" on Friday — the same day that Trump is holding a rally in Chicago, according to WMAQ-TV.
The joke is that "The Trump Footlong" is only 3-inches long. The $2.69 item is part of The Wiener Circle's marketing campaign to "Make Wieners Great Again."

But the fun doesn't stop there. Besides "The Trump Footlong," the iconic hot dog stand is also offering the "Trump Package" — two 3-inch Chicago-style hot dogs with a drink and fries for $8.30 — and the "Trump Super PAC," a whopping four 3-inch dogs with fries and a drink for $12.56, according to WMAQ.
Could it be because of our ART OF THE MEAL menu, coinciding w @realDonaldTrump's chicago stop? https://t.co/DGBCL7W5mY— The Wieners Circle (@The Wieners Circle) 1457642019.0
The Wiener's Circle's marketing campaign took off following Florida Senator Marco Rubio's spat with Trump during the GOP presidential debate last week. Trump had responded to Rubio's remarks concerning the "small" size of Trump's hands and fingers.
“And I have to say this, I have to say this, he hit my hands,” Trump said during the debate. “Nobody has ever hit my hands, I’ve never heard of this. Look at those hands. Are they small hands?”
But Trump didn't stop there. His next remarks provided the fuel necessary for The Wiener's Circle to concoct their unique marketing plan: “And he referred to my hands, if they’re small, something else must be small, I guarantee you there’s no problem,” Trump said.
