Billionaire businessman Donald Trump holds a commanding lead over his 2016 GOP rivals in California, according to results from a Fox News poll released Friday.
49 percent of the 583 likely Republican primary voters surveyed April 18-21 said they supported Trump.
Texas Senator Ted Cruz was far behind, earning 22 percent of support. Ohio Gov. John Kasich came in third place, winning over 20 percent of those surveyed.
The poll had a margin of error of plus or minus four percentage points. According to the Real Clear Politics average, Trump holds a commanding 15-point lead over Cruz in California.
