May 04, 2016
"[U]nfortunate to see the continuous inaccuracies and misrepresentations made by the media..."
A hot mic caught MSNBC host Chris Matthews gushing over Melania Trump's "runway walk" during Tuesday's coverage of the Indiana primary.
“Did you see her walk?" Matthews said about Donald Trump's wife as she followed her husband to the podium. "Runway walk. My God is that good."
“I could watch that runway show,” he added.

Brian Williams, anchoring the network's coverage, quickly cut to a break following the comments.
A spokesperson for Melania Trump told CNN that Melania is "an accomplished businesswoman and entrepreneur in her own right."
The unnamed spokesperson added that it was "unfortunate to see the continuous inaccuracies and misrepresentations made by the media of Mrs. Trump as anything less than the independently successful woman that she is."
As CNN noted, Tuesday was not the first time Matthews found himself in hot water over commends made about women on air. In 2011, he said there was "something electric" abou the way "very attractive" Sarah Palin walks.
