Viral Time-Lapse Video Shows Bird Perched Peacefully in Egg-Filled Nest — and Then Later, One Unwelcome Visitor
May 16, 2016

A YouTube user said he found a bird's nest in his front yard and then set up his GoPro camera in the branches in order to capture video of the eggs hatching.
But after a bird spent some time with the eggs and flew off, the video camera instead caught an unwelcome visitor slithering toward the nest.
A snake proceeded to gobble down all four eggs.
Despite its popularity — the clip has received more than 3 million views since it was posted Friday — some commenters have contended the video may have been staged, saying the camera operator may have purposely put a snake in the tree in the hopes it would find the eggs and eat them on camera.
