Alex Jones: Scientists made human-animal hybrids that are ’80 percent gorilla’

InfoWars founder Alex Jones is promoting his story about human-animal chimeras again, recently telling listeners, “I am in a death battle.”

Jones said on his radio show that he gets “hundreds” of articles each week about human-animal hybrid creatures with no rights. This week on “Pat & Stu,” Pat Gray and Stu Burguiere commented on the latest crazy conspiracy theory from Jones.

“You see humanoids,” Jones said. “They’re, like, 80 percent gorilla, 80 percent pig, and they’re talking.”

Scientists are already making these creatures, and the process should be illegal, Jones claimed.

Global Healing Center founder Dr. Edward Group, Jones’ expert of choice for the segment, confirmed his claims and added that what we need to do is make all “man-made chemicals” illegal through presidential executive orders banning genetically modified organisms and artificial sweeteners. Group’s company sells “cleansing” health kits and vitamin supplements.

“I’m concerned most of all about the 80 percent ape and 80 percent pig. That’s 160 percent of somebody,” Pat joked.

“Chimera” is a term used for single organisms that contain DNA from two or more organisms; one example is someone who undergoes a bone marrow transplant.

In reality, which exists far from the world of InfoWars, scientists have worked with mice and rats to inject rat stem cells into mice in order to grow a rat’s pancreatic tissue inside a mouse. Recent experiments have involved injecting human cells into pig embryos with the goal of growing healthy human organs that can be used for transplants. Pig organs are similar to human organs, making the animal a possible candidate.

An estimated 22 people die each day waiting for an organ transplant, so the ability to grow a custom organ without having to wait for available donors would be life-saving; however, the scientific world is still a long way from such a process. Any organs grown in the initial embryos would still contain far too much pig tissue to be accepted by a human body.
