The GOP is reeling from several set-backs, from the failure to repeal the Affordable Care Act Thursday night to the seemingly endless leaks of information from the White House to reporters. It seems Republicans can only go up from here.
Fox News’ Eric Bolling, author of “The Swamp: Washington's Murky Pool of Corruption and Cronyism and How Trump Can Drain It,” told Chris Salcedo a couple of ways that might happen on Friday’s “Chris Salcedo Show.”
Bolling wondered why Senator John McCain (R–Ariz.) rushed back from surgery just to vote no for all three health care reform options. “What was the rush, to hurry up and get back and obstruct the process?” he asked. Looking forward, he said, “The right thing is to put this aside and get working on tax reform.”
He thinks the Senate will pick up seats despite what happened last night, but the House could be in jeopardy. He believes these “self-inflicted wounds” are coming from establishment Republicans who simply do not like President Donald Trump.
