Dennis Rodman heads to North Korea again for this reason -- will it help or hurt?
June 13, 2017
Dennis Rodman is back in North Korea to visit supreme leader Kim Jong Un for the first time since he took office. He is traveling as a private citizen, the state department confirmed, adding that they don’t suggest any Americans visit North Korea.
Mike Opelka remarked on today's "Pure Opelka" that Rodman is probably the only person in the world who has both President Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un on speed dial. Rodman appeared on Trump’s reality show “Celebrity Apprentice” twice.
This visit is happening independently of the release of Otto Warmbier, an American political prisoner of North Korea who has been in a coma for over a year.
Rodman claims he is "just trying to open a door," with his visit. Mike wondered how bizarre it would be if Dennis Rodman saved the world from a nuclear North Korea? He would certainly deserve the Nobel Peace prize, and would probably wear the medal everywhere, even at the club.
To see more from Mike, visit his channel on TheBlaze and listen live to “Pure Opelka” weekdays 7–10 p.m. ET & Saturdays 6–9 a.m. ET, only on TheBlaze Radio Network.
