Donald Trump's flag burning tweet sets off freedom of speech firestorm

On this episode of The Buck Sexton Show, Buck chats with Libertarian dynamo Matt Welch, editor of Reason.com, about the many layers of President-Elect Donald Trump's recent tweet that has driven many observers into a complete freak-out.

"Antonin Scalia...ruled in 1989, in a five-to-four decision, that flag burning is protected speech, period," Matt points out. "So there have been periodic attempts by idiot populist politicians like Hillary Clinton, and now Donald Trump, although he hasn't actually made an attempt to try to convert populist outrage at burning the flag to legislation. It would not pass Constitutional muster."

Listen live to The Buck Sexton Show weekdays 12–3pm ET on TheBlaze Radio Network.
