House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi gave a brief address on Tuesday to Refugees International and appeared to be struggling to remember countries and pronounce words.
On Thursday’s “Pat & Stu,” Pat Gray, Stu Burguiere and Jeffy Fisher wondered what went wrong and suggested some hypotheses that could explain Pelosi’s garbled words and stuttering. Medication, a couple of alcoholic beverages or lack of practice could have influenced her stumbling through the simple speech.
“It could be medication,” Stu speculated. “It could be maybe she had a couple.”
The answer could be something as simple as Pelosi not having read the address through before speaking to Refugees International.
“Maybe she just hadn’t read the speech and she was struggling through it,” Stu said.
“It looks like a little bit of that for sure, where she just hadn’t read it at all,” Jeffy agreed.
