This director blames 'science deniers' for his anti-Christian movie flop at the box office

Director Darren Aronofsky is blaming his latest flop at the box office on ignorant Americans. The director, who is now dating actress Jennifer Lawrence, accuses "science deniers" of not being interested in the message "mother!" (which is anti-Christian also) has to offer: that climate change is real, backed by science.  Actors and politicians turned activists like Leonardo DiCaprio and Al Gore have made a fortune off speaking engagements and money driven documentaries claiming humans are the cause of climate change.

"mother!" (purposely lowercase) not only insults Christianity but mocks those who refuse to buy into the left's religiosity surrounding climate change.

The bizarre film was rated the "worst movie of the century" by some prominent movie critics who called it a "delusional freak show."

Rex Reed, a film critic for the New York Observer, completely annihilated the film and called the director a pretentious "whack job" in his review.

" ... the films of wack job Darren Aronofsky have shown a dark passion for exploring twisted souls in torment. But nothing he’s done before to poison the ozone layer prepared me for mother!an exercise in torture and hysteria so over the top that I didn’t know whether to scream or laugh out loud. Stealing ideas from Polanski, Fellini and Kubrick, he’s jerrybuilt an absurd Freudian nightmare that is more wet dream than bad dream, with the subtlety of a chainsaw," wrote Reed. Ouch.

On today's episode of "Pat Gray Unleashed," Pat discussed the reasons why the film may have failed at the box office and poked fun at Bill Nye's bizarre explanation of hurricanes.
