Many progressives are concerned with Colin Kaepernick’s future in the NFL. They argue that teams have shied away from signing the free agent quarterback because of his refusal to stand during the National Anthem.
On today's episode of "Pat Gray Unleashed," Pat took a call from a listener who had something to say about the double-standards concerning the treatment of Kaepernick and Tim Tebow.
Some argue Kaepernick is just not that great of a player and politics has nothing to do with him being unsigned, however, Pat questioned why there's outrage surrounding an unsigned Kaepernick but virtually silence in regards to Tim Tebow who led the Denver Broncos to the playoffs.
“Nobody said [every single time another team passed on him] ‘Well, that’s racism,’” said Pat. “There’s a white quarterback who went through almost the same thing for very different reasons. All of this controversy over the Kaepernick thing is absolutely absurd.”
