RANT: Graham Allen rips Ocasio-Cortez's entitled push for $4,500 pay raise

"Rant Nation" host Graham Allen had a few suggestions for Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), who hasn't given up on last week's proposed 2.6 percent pay hike for members of Congress.

The pay raise proposal, which was halted Monday by House Democrats following public backlash, would have added an additional $4,500 to the annual salary of $174,000 for rank-and-file members of Congress.

"AOC is in the news today because she's decided she needs a raise," Graham said. "I mean, we can talk about a pay cut."

Noting that Ocasio-Cortez "lost 25,000 jobs in her own district," Graham said that the congresswoman of only 5 months believes she is entitled to a 2.6 percent raise "when federal employees received only 1.9 percent."

He listed several more of Ocasio-Cortez's non-contributions to our country and then suggested, "Why don't you work with the president to secure the border, because it's actually a crisis, focus on veterans and actual legal citizens of America, instead of the illegal ones, and focus on being pro-America, and then maybe we'll talk."
