'Hispandering' Beto tried to pave a 'pathway to the White House' by speaking Spanish in Dem primary debate

On Thursday morning's radio program, Pat Gray covered highlights from Democratic presidential hopeful Beto O'Rourke, including indirect answers to direct questions and the use of the Spanish language.

In this clip, O'Rourke was asked if he favored a 70-percent income tax but failed to give an answer that satisfied the debate moderators.

"This economy has got to work for everyone, and right now we know that it isn't. And it's going to take all of us coming together to make sure that it does," O'Rourke said. He then switched to Spanish what Pat called 'Hispandering" for the Hispanic vote.

When asked to answer the question directly, O'Rourke said that he would support a tax rate that fair for everyone but failed to answer the question of whether or not he supported a 70-percent income tax.
