WATCH: Chuck Schumer agreed with Donald Trump on immigration and border security 10 years ago

On Tuesday's episode of " Pat Gray Unleashed," Pat Gray and Keith Malinak discussed Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and a tweet he posted in the wake of the deal that had been reached between President Donald Trump and Mexico on immigration, and past comments made by both Shcumer and Trump on the topic of immigration and border security.

Pat and Keith then compared past comments Schumer made regarding immigration that with past Trump comments.

Schumer vs. Trump on immigration

Schumer: "When we use phrases like undocumented workers, we convey a message to the American people that their government is not serious about combating illegal immigration."

Trump: "They like to use the word 'undocumented' because it is more political, I don't use that word. They are illegal immigrants. They came here illegally. Some of them are wonderful people and have been here for a while...they have to go out."

Schumer vs. Trump on border security

Schumer: "Above all else, the American people want their government to be serious about protecting the public, enforcing the rule of law, and creating a rational system of legal immigration that will proactively fit our needs rather than reactively responding to future waves of illegal immigration."

Trump: "Immigration policy that is fair and equitable but that is going to protect our people. What the American people are pleading for is sanity and common sense in our immigration system."

Schumer vs. Trump on the treatment of illegal aliens

Schumer: "People who enter the united states without our permission are illegal aliens and illegal aliens should not be treated the same as people who enter the U.S. legally."

Trump: "You cannot obtain legal status or become a citizen of the United States by illegally entering our country, can't do it."

Sarcastically, Pat pointed out how interesting it was to see Schumer behave as though no one had any way of knowing what politicians had said in the past.
