4-Minute Buzz: Here's why 200,000 Salvadoran immigrants face deportation

In 2001, two earthquakes devastated El Salvador. The U.S. welcomed around 200,000 Salvadorans to live and work legally in the country after El Salvador was damaged by the earthquakes, but now the Trump administration says their protection status no longer applies. Families living in the U.S. now have until September 2019 to decide what to do when their legal protections are rescinded.
