Beto O'Rourke says he wants to ban assault rifles

On Tuesday’s episode of “Pat Gray Unleashed,” Pat discussed comments made by Democratic Texas Senate candidate Beto O’Rourke about banning bump stocks and AR-15 rifles.

Pat lamented, “Beto is talking about banning bump stocks and assault rifles like the AR-15 because its only purpose is for killing human beings.”

He continued, “No, no, it isn’t; every gun could fit that description.”

Pat discussed how gun-related crime rates are highest in U.S. cities like Chicago, an area known for having some of the most stringent gun control laws in the nation.

O'Rourke, the U.S. Representative from Texas's 16th Congressional District, is running against Republican incumbent Sen. Ted Cruz for the U.S. Senate seat.  A new poll shows Cruz with a 9-point lead over O’Rourke.
