Walt Disney, a pioneer of his time, arrived in Los Angeles in 1923 with little more than a pencil and an idea. And despite all the barriers he faced in Hollywood, Disney was determined to turn his childhood love of drawing and animation into moving cartoons.
Disney now remains a leading multinational media empire, but is what Walt Disney accomplished possible in America today?
