If you put up Christmas lights too early, you may get an angry letter from your HOA

Glenn Beck and his family found themselves in the Christmas spirit earlier than their neighbors, so Glenn decided to put up his Christmas lights before Thanksgiving. As he explains to Pat Gray and Jeff Fisher, this led to a notice from Glenn's HOA demanding that he stop illuminating his decorations until after Thanksgiving. Glenn also reveals that he isn't allowed to fly a flag on his property under the terms of his HOA agreement, which understandably vexes him greatly.

"It makes me want to buy the property behind my house, just outside of the fence, and put in the largest flag known to mankind," Glenn vents. "But that would be crazy. That would be almost wasteful."

"But fun!" Pat responds.
