New Mexico man arrested for allegedly stealing a green chile cheeseburger
September 21, 2017
A New Mexico man was arrested after allegedly stealing a green chile cheeseburger from a restaurant customer and dancing around his victim.
Anthony Frazier, 25, was arrested Sunday on suspicion of robbery. He allegedly slapped a customer at The Shake Foundation restaurant, stole the man’s cheeseburger and danced, the New Mexican reported. A restaurant employee told police that Frazier dropped the burger, picked it back up and then fled the scene.
Keith Malinak shared the delicious story as part of the day’s headlines, and Doc Thompson couldn’t help sympathizing with the man for stealing something as good as a green chile cheeseburger.
“I cannot condone stealing someone’s green chile cheeseburger and dancing around,” Doc said. “But I understand. … It’s all about those green chiles roasted, with the ketchup.”
