The media says Trump went too far -- but what about Mattis?

A Washington post report revealed that North Korea is now capable of reaching the U.S. mainland with nuclear weapons. According to the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), Kim Jung Un’s regime has developed a miniaturized nuclear device, which could potentially be used as warheads for intercontinental ballistic missiles.

Reports say that North Korean leadership has threatened to use “absolute force” against President Donald Trump in retaliation for the president’s promise to meet threats against the U.S. with “fire and fury like the world has never seen.”

North Korea has said they will have four missiles ready to launch over Japan toward the U.S. territory of Guam by August. Japan has responded by announcing they will shoot down any North Korean missiles that fly into its airspace.

Wednesday, Defense Secretary Jim Mattis issued a harsh warning for Kim Jung Un’s regime, “The DPRK [Democratic People’s Republic of Korea] should cease any consideration of actions that would lead to the end of its regime and the destruction of its people.”

Dana Loesch discussed the mounting tensions with North Korea with the guest panel today on "Dana."

“I want to pick on the media a little bit,” said Dana. “I’ve been enthralled by all of these stories that say Trump went too far.” She went on to point out that Mattis' statement was “way harsher than what the president said.”
