Watch: Postal worker refuses to deliver mail to Florida nudist community

What’s going on?

Nudists who live in an RV community in Florida are upset because a U.S. Postal Service mail carrier refuses to deliver mail inside the resort.

Doc handpicked this story just for Jeffy to share on today’s show.

Tell me more:

Residents at Eden RV Resort and City Retreat in Hudson, Florida claim that one mail carrier in particular won’t bring mail inside their community. The “clothing optional” park has mailboxes outside the gate for smaller pieces of mail, but larger boxes won’t fit.

“It offends me that she does not do her job because if she can’t do her job, then she shouldn’t be having this job,” longtime resident Eileen Hudak told WFLA.

What is USPS saying?

A spokeswoman for the U.S. Post Service said the mail carrier was not violating policy by not coming inside the community. “Notices are left for mail requiring signature and items that do not fit in the lockers,” spokeswoman Enola Rice said in a statement. “Carriers are not required to deliver beyond the centralized delivery units.”
