Media ‘Late Night’ Band that insulted Bachmann forced to clear songs by NBC

After insulting Michele Bachmann, Late Night with Jimmy Kimmel band must have songs cleared
The “Lyin ass b**ch” song debacle with Michele Bachmann is long over. “Late Night” host Jimmy Fallon apologized for his band playing the song and so did the vice president of NBC.

But the network is taking extra precaution that it won’t happen again. Questlove, the leader of the band The Roots, has been order by higher-ups to have future song choices for “Late Night” cleared with three executives, according to the New York Post.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Fallon joked about the reason Questlove chose the song in the first place. “Maybe Questlove is a Romney guy,” he said.

    I enjoy Jimmy Fallon and also think the Roots are very talented. I was shocked to hear that they played that song. I usually look forward to hearing what song they pick to bring out the next guest. This was a big mistake by Questlove.

    They were probably pissed because she didn’t bring them any chicken… was on tour with the Roots for a year (longest year of my life) and I never saw Ahmir without a chicken leg hanging out of his mouth. Oh and they are racist too…

    Said it before and I’ll say it again: The liberal (progressive, collectivist, Marxist, communist, socialist, democrat) doesn‘t live that’s matured beyond the age of 12. Like the toddler caught with his hand in the cookie jar and crumbs on his chin, Questlove wants so hard not to have been caught that he lies hard enough to make himself believe it…
    Now lovie’s little garage band has proven they can be professional enough to need daddy to check their nails and behind their ears before they go out to play.
    I hope the bile rises in this adolescent loser’s craw every time he has to run his playlist by the boss.

    May have skipped what I would use as a lede here. Questlove originally claimed that his musical choice was a “spur of the moment” decision, but according to his interview in Rolling Stone before the incident, he was “gunning for Bachmann.” And in rehearsal, he apparently tried to slip the song title past the band’s keyboardist.
