How was your voting experience? TheBlaze wants to know!
Voting is something I get really excited about — I relish it as one of my rights as an American citizen. This morning, I headed to the polls to cast my vote, worrying about long lines reported on the news. But if there’s one good thing about being from a small rural town in Michigan, it’s no-wait voting.
The only disappointment: my precinct didn’t pass out any “I voted” stickers. Hopefully that will be my biggest disappointment today…
Whether you voted early, absentee or braved long lines at the polls today, TheBlaze wants to hear about your voting experience. Was it good? Bad? Ugly?

Posted on November 6, 2012 at 3:01pmMy husband and I just got back from voting. There were a couple people ahead of us and a couple behind us. It looked like a steady streaming vote. Same as always here in TN. We did get stickers that say, “My Vote Counts”.

Posted on November 6, 2012 at 3:01pmAfter standing in line for 100 people ahead of me I realized after inching ahead several feet that those were silver things hanging from the womans nose in front of me and not boogers. Guess she cancelled my vote.

Posted on November 6, 2012 at 3:00pmI got to my polling place at 6:50 am and waited for an hr. The parking at my polling place in Saint Petersburg, Fl was horrible. They are using a trailer’s community club house, they had maybe 10-15 parking spots, and everyone else had to park on people’s yards because they road was not wide enough. When I finally got in, a very nice lady checked my ID but she forgot her reading glasses, so I had to point to my name in the book a couple of times in order to sign in.

Posted on November 6, 2012 at 2:56pmWell, we moved to hippie-Hispanic-Pueblo INdian Taos, New Mexico since this was where we found work…obambya country…No one here even knows what Marxism is…
Went to early vote last week and there were about 30 people in line non-stop the whole time we were there…tho the line moved fast. A gal behind me had forgotten her reading glasses but I was not about to help he vote for obombya. Long story short, we wound up next to each other at the voting table…I glanced at her vote for Romney and then so magnanimously offered her my reading glasses…for which she was MOST grateful. I proceeded to tell her how I voted (which was NO on all of the spending propostions) and so she did too. Then I told her to be sure to vote for the Repubolican Congressman, and she had already made sure she marked that. We giggled and spoke about which judges to leave balnk since they were unopposed democraps…and all the while, nayeb five minutes, no one ever stopped us from comparing our ballots outright, and talking about how we should vote.
Guess the poll workers thought we must be obombya-bots and they never cast a glance our way. WE also made sure we voted for the lone Republican running for local judge…Cooper. Victory is sweet and it WILL be a landslide for Romney…isn;t it funny we alal got behind him and we do not have to keep saying Romney-Ryan anymore???
Thank You Father that You Are a good G-d and you have heard the prayers of the believers and You ANSWER prayer.

Posted on November 6, 2012 at 2:47pmHour wait lines this morning. Alabama uses paper ballots! Plus, Amendment 6: Seeks to undercut the federal Affordable Care Act by prohibiting anyone from being compelled to participate in any health care plan. Great voting experience.

Posted on November 6, 2012 at 2:41pmLast week I voted in a small town in Texas, outside the Dallas area. Walked right in and voted. No long lines, but I voted early and in the middle of the day. Everyone was friendly, good experience.

Posted on November 6, 2012 at 2:37pmI told all my 9 employees I would pay them for two hours if they will vote. One of them is 28 and never voted. I got him a voter registration card and the location of his polling place.
I voted this morning about an hour after polls open 20 min wait.

Posted on November 6, 2012 at 2:35pmNo stickers!? That sucks:(
So I’m here in swing state Ohio, in our little town polling station it’s always only a few people there, barely any waiting, but today was a different story, there was probably 30 people. I got my sticker and now I’m praying for a victory! Mitt 2012!

Posted on November 6, 2012 at 2:32pmI’m in Southern Vermont, I went to the town office where we vote, stood behind three or four people in line waiting for my ballot and cast my vote for Mitt Romney. It was weird when I was signing in though, the judges were writing down every letter and word I said. So I walked up to the table with people checking names off a list as we got our ballots. One lady took our name, while the lady behind her shouted our names and responses to the judges, and another lady checked our names off a backup list, I guess so they have to double check to insure the record is accurate.
One lady who came in while I was filling out my ballot had apparently not registered to vote, though she had claimed she filled out the paperwork at the DMV last time she’d gotten her license renewed. They almost let her vote! Told her she had two options, either not vote, or sign an affidavit stating she was certain she’d registered, but because she wasn’t 100% sure she decided not to. That is voter, or I guess this time non-voter integrity.

Posted on November 6, 2012 at 2:37pmI live in a predominantly Republican precinct in Michigan. The line was 5x what a normal presidential election would normally be. I had to park on the lawn. The poll workers were great and commented that it was the busiest morning they had ever seen. I waited for an hour and voted at 11:45am.
It was very quiet except for a few people who knew each other and would chat as the line snaked around.
My take – people have some very passionate pent up reasons to vote. This is our only chance to be heard, and I think we are going to be heard loudly!

Posted on November 6, 2012 at 3:10pmI also vote in PA.
I waited about five minutes to vote (I went at 1:15pm) in my tiny fire hall polling place. We are a small community so there usually isn’t that long of a wait. I went home, picked up my mom and went to the fire hall. It was odd to actually be asked for ID even though the person said that it wasn’t needed. Of course, I duly showed my ID as did my mom. We were in and out within 15 minutes. We chose to use the paper ballots just like 2010.
Overall, it was a great experience and I cannot wait until this is all over and Romney WINS!

Posted on November 6, 2012 at 2:18pmI live in MS and tried to vote at 730 this am before work. I pulled up and saw the line through the library. Went back at lunch and it was a breeze. I was the 578 ballot to scan in. We are not electronic down here – its all paper. We have about 26K people here in my city and voting stations like 1/2 a mile apart. I was walking out behind 2 black women and heard one say there is no way she would ever vote republican. I really wanted to ask her why? But then I realized why. People down here only see a white and black man voting. We have 2 types of people – one that vote on color (black voting for black and white voting for white) and ones that vote off of the candidates record. I dont look at skin..Ive got 4 mixed nieces and nephews – I voted for the best “person” not “color” I think could do the job. As did my sister and her husband of the 4 mixed nieces and nephews(yes all from the same daddy – they were married before having babies and have planted a church here as well – he is the pastor).

Posted on November 6, 2012 at 2:17pmAmazed at the long line OUTSIDE the polling place in South Carolina, and wanting to preserve a memory of this eventful election, I snapped a photo with my cell phone. Immediately, a ‘gentleman’ began shouting at me that I was “breaking federal law” and committing “voter intimidation.” I just answered, “Oh, is that right?” and pocketed my phone. He assured me all polling places had signs that prohibited photos inside or out. This site had none. Once inside, he continued to rail loudly, so I asked the election manager if I could take a picture of the line outside and whether or not that violated state or federal law. She told me there was no law against it, but “please, we don’t want any trouble.” I’m sad that doing something lawful is considered making trouble – just because an uninformed loudmouth wants to spout off. Who is the real troublemaker? (Mr. Romney got my vote.)

Posted on November 6, 2012 at 2:11pmI have voted in precinct 367 in Palm Harbor FL since 1997. I typically vote either first thing in the morning or close to 7PM. This morning my wife daughter and I went to vote at 7AM (first Presidential vote for my daughter). The line was so long my wife made me take her back home:). For that time of the day I would estimate that the turnout was between 8 to 10 times > than 2008. Took us over 1 hour to vote. My wife went back at ~9:30 and it took her over 30 minutes. This is a very RED area so good sign I would think.
Also, for the first time in 40 years I got my mom to vote, thank God.

Posted on November 6, 2012 at 2:00pmI’m on the east coast of Hurricane devastated New Jersey. I was up at 6:30, got ready for work, made my coffee, made sure I had what I needed, and drove to the polling location we got in the mail. On my way there I looked at the devastation and flood damage all around me and thought how eerily similar it looked to the economic and social devastation Obama, Biden, and their criminal regime have each wrought on our beautiful country.
I arrived at the station, which was being powered by generators. I found my district (I’m new there), got into the booth, and voted down the Republican ticket line; for Romney/Ryan and Joe Kyrillos who is in a tough Senatorial battle against liberal Democrat Robert Menendez, who voted for Obamacare. My repudiation against Obama for a long and frustrating four years. I’m only 25 years old and sometimes feel very alone in this battle amongst the seeming liberal, communist, anti-American majority of my age group. I left the station, got in my car, and prayed to almighty God to deliver the country back to those that love her and to help us take away from those that only wish to do her harm. And like everyone else, I went to work at the job I’m lucky to have.

Posted on November 6, 2012 at 3:47pmPraying for you guys here from MS. Our church lifted up the north Sunday at service in prayer. We have a blood drive at the college I work for and today I gave blood. Was told it may be shipped up to you guys for the sick. Great feeling knowing I can help in every way not just financially as I have been. God uses everything for good and His Kingdom – good will and is coming out. We as a people come together in times like this to support one another. You acquire more family by devastations such as these. We were hit by katrina and the northern state is a tornado play ground. Keep your eyes to God and do whatever you can to be His Hands and Feet to your people. :)

Posted on November 6, 2012 at 1:58pmLos Angeles, CA voter hère – Voted at local school – three precincts at one spot. 9:00am about 15 people in each line. Lower numbers than 2008.
One woman in line was wearing an Obama Hope shirt and 2012 button. Nobody, including me said anything. It is LA after all and it wasn’t really a big deal.
Oh, and I voted Romney! My fiancé voted Obama in 2008 and voted Romney this time!!!

Posted on November 6, 2012 at 2:31pmWe’re in Los Angeles as well (on the westside). Voted at about 8am, not busy at all. We were in and out. There were two other polling places near by, they had short lines. We voted at a fire station. The other stations we drove by, one was in a residential area and the other was a small business. Everyone was polite, nothing alarming or concerning. Our whole household has or will vote Romney/Ryan….oh, and Yes on Prop 32.

Posted on November 6, 2012 at 1:54pmWe have just walked in and voted at all previous elections. This morning we waited 30 minutes in line with a bunch of upbeat people. Were told the line was around the corner and down the road at 7:30am. In Winter Park, Florida, just outside Orlando. Good sign for Romney.

Posted on November 6, 2012 at 1:54pmI arrived at the poll at 7:30 this morning and there was a line! I was so excited about the turn out so early. The people working the poll commented that they had more people than expected this early. There were NO signs, or anyone “encouraging” votes. We were all polite to each other and glad to wait in line to cast our votes!
