Chemical Engineer and Forbes contributor, Robert Rapier joined Jacki Daily in this podcast to discuss why the era of oil is not coming to an end -- and won't be anytime soon.
"Everyone thinks that the era of oil is over. You keep hearing about peak demand and how electric vehicles are taking over the planet," Jacki said, adding, "So Robert, what do you think? Is oil in it's death throes?"
"In 2016 and 2017, electric vehicle sales worldwide grew by about 300 thousand," explained Robert. "But total vehicle sales grew by about 5 million ... All you have to do is look at last year's car sales and you can see that internal combustion engines are far, far out stripping electric vehicle sales."
