Lying 'doorknob' McConnell screwed conservatives over Obamacare

Conservative Review Editor-in-Chief Mark Levin opened his show Tuesday night slamming establishment Republicans for capitulating to leftist policies on health care and other issues.

Levin called out several Republican leaders by name, shaming the “complete frauds” and “liars” such as Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) and Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) for their Obamacare lies.

Disturbed by McConnell’s insistence that Obamacare has to remain in place, Levin teared into the Kentucky senator’s leadership..

“Why the hell is Mitch McConnell the leader of the Republicans in the Senate?” Levin asked. “Can somebody tell me what attributes he brings to this job?”

“He’s not articulate, unless you think a mumbling homeless person is articulate. He’s not charismatic, unless you think a doorknob is charismatic. He’s not particularly intelligent, unless you think a 71 IQ is up there,” Levin expressed. “What is it that Mitch McConnell stands for? What is it that Mitch McConnell has ever done … what is it?”

Levin described the collusion between the “old barnacles” in Congress and establishment media outlets that refuse to stand by pro-liberty principles.

It was “a disastrous proposal,” Levin said of the Obamacare-lite legislation pushed by Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (R-Wisc.) and news media figures at Fox News and the Wall Street Journal, which Levin described as the “mouthpiece for crony capitalism and corporatists.”

“You lie 1,000 times as a Republican politician, we’re told to rally behind you, for the sake of the party … this is not about the sake of the party, it’s about the sake of the nation,” Levin said.
