High-ranking House Democrat James Clyburn, S.C., should resign after remarks he made defending his colleague — accused sexual abuser Rep. John Conyers, D-Mich. — said LevinTV host Mark Levin on his national radio program Wednesday.
Clyburn insinuated that elected officials shouldn’t have to lose their jobs due to sexual harassment allegations (as opposed to the many in the private sector who have and do).
But it was more than that insinuation that should cause Clyburn to lose his post, Levin explained. Clyburn also reportedly compared Conyers’ accusers to child-murderer Susan Smith, who originally blamed her crime on a black man.
“This man is a racist, and he should resign, and he should resign now,” Levin concluded. “He is a disgrace.”
