Wednesday on the radio, LevinTV host Mark Levin reacted to news from CNN that Iran is about to launch a "major exercise in the Persian Gulf."
CNN reports that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard forces have assembled a fleet of more than 100 boats, possibly aimed at demonstrating that they can shut down international shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.
"So the Iranians are on the move, what this portends we cannot be 100 percent certain," Levin said. "But a hundred ships is a hundred ships. A hundred military naval ships, that's not a joke."

Levin used this example of Iranian aggression to show why it is so important to have a strong national defense.
"What happens when the United States has its guard down? What happens when the United States slashes its military spending and its military resources? We tend to have wars and we tend to lose a lot more lives than we would otherwise lose if we were ready," Levin said.
