This fan-made ‘Betomaniac’ ad is an abomination: We watched it. Now you have to, too

The Austin, Texas-based vaudeville theater group Esther's Follies must viscerally hate Senate candidate Rep. Beto O'Rourke, D-Texas, and want him to lose. That is the only logical explanation for an abomination of a political ad released last Friday featuring the group singing (badly), ostensibly in support of Beto's campaign.

What you are about to watch is the most cringeworthy, creepy, and off-key music video ever produced for or against a political candidate in American history.

There is no way the people who filmed this thought they could help Beto O'Rourke beat Ted Cruz with this ad. Or if they did, Betomania is a serious mental condition, and if you find yourself afflicted, seek medical attention immediately.
