On Monday, at an event honoring Native American “code talkers,” President Donald Trump made a joking reference to Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., referring to her as “Pocahontas.”
"You were here long before any of us were here,” Trump said, standing in front of a portrait of former President Andrew Jackson (famous for signing the Indian Removal Act). “Although we have a representative in Congress who they say was here a long time ago. They call her Pocahontas.”

The reference, of course, is a shot at Warren's dubious claims about having Native American heritage.
