WATCH: Warm welcome for President Trump & first lady at Pittsburgh hospital
October 31, 2018
President Trump and top White House officials traveled to Pittsburgh Tuesday to pay their respects to the individuals killed in the atrocious anti-Semitic attack on a synagogue over the weekend.
A touching video surfaced Tuesday evening on Twitter from Pennsylvania resident Sheryl Mascio, who shared a clip of staff at UPMC Pittsburgh hospital thanking the president and first lady for coming to express their support for the victims and the hospital staff.
The president visited the Tree of Life Synagogue, site of the horrific attack that took the lives of eleven Jews. He also met with the police officers who were wounded during their successful effort to neutralize the shooter.
