WTF MSM!? Another jihadi human interest story

The jihadi next door …

“Was he following Al Qaeda or his heart?” … One of the most tiring tropes of mainstream media coverage of terrorist attacks is the inevitable profile of the jihadi next door. The MSM routinely tries to humanize insidious people. The jihadi who laughably failed in his attempt to blow up the Port Authority Bus Terminal subway station gets — as the Free Beacon’s Alex Griswold described it — puff-piece treatment in today’s New York Times. The jihadi is profiled as a good guy, because he went to help Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh before he unsuccessfully tried to murder Americans. You can’t make this stuff up. Who even thinks to do something like that?

Speaking of jihadis … Yesterday Politico released a bombshell investigation about how the Obama administration sabotaged efforts to go after Hezbollah’s cocaine shipments to the United States. Just another bit of fake news spread by the leftist media to incite the leftist base.
