Did Grayson Plagiarize One of His Ads?

When it rains, it pours. Alan Grayson is getting soaked.

We've brought you news today on Alan Grayson's attack ads, and how those ads may now be backfiring. But now, there is an accusation that his campaign plagiarized a different ad.

Via Ben Smith at Politico:

I sent over the video of Alan Grayson's "Let it Shine" ad ... to adman Jimmy Siegel, who made a (slightly more understated) ad in very much the same style ... for Eliot Spitzer in 2006.

He emails back:

Can I sue for plagarism [sic]? Be great if you wrote a column saying that you're not allowed to shamelessly copy things in other mediums, but for some reason some media consultants have no shame. They should pay me the media buy.

And to add insult to injury, they did a lousy job.
