Anchors celebrate coach's unemployment with on-air high-five

Unemployment anarchists like Frances Fox Piven will probably have the same reaction you're about to see.

During an afternoon edition of ESPN's "Sportscenter," intrepid reporter Adam Schefter received breaking news to his cell phone that Browns' head coach Eric Mangini had been fired. He instantly got giddy upon breaking the news, and anchor Hannah Storm celebrated with him by laughing and giving him a high-five.

The best part, however, is that Storm quickly realized that she and Schefter were celebrating the demise of coach who had just been fired for the second time in as many years and started an over-the-top series of backpedals. At one point during the awkward 180, she told viewers, "this isn't something we take lightly nor we want to make fun of in any way." Odd, since they just took it lightly and made fun of it in multiple ways:

To be fair, they were probably just celebrating Schefter being the first to the story. But, it could have been taken otherwise. Even Storm realized that and quickly went into damage-control mode.
