Watch the Other Hand: Biden Uses Sleight-of-Hand to Nab Speech From 3-Year-Old

"I'll make a bet with you."

Watch the other hand. That's the phrase Glenn Beck often invokes when describing the Obama administration. Now he has some video evidence.

While swearing in senators on Wednesday, the three-year-old son of Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR) grabbed Biden's script. After trying to reason with the boy, Biden realized he had to get more innovative. He then reached into his pocket and pulled out a bargaining chip -- a mint.

While playing a mint-in-the-hand guessing game with the boy, Biden snatched the speech back while the boy was enthralled with the candy. As Beck would say, "watch the other hand":

And after he administered the oath to Georgia’s Johnny Isakson, the senator's grandson, Jack, had a question for Biden: Could construction workers build a LEGO shop in Washington?

"I'll tell you what, I'll work with grandpop to see if we can get that done," said Biden. "We need jobs, Jack. The kid’s thinking! He wants to build a LEGO shop here.”
