The riots and protests in Egypt are nearly two weeks old, and today there seemed to be a slight decline in the wall to wall coverage from the 24-hour news outlets (Fox, CNN, & MSNBC). Was audience fatigue behind the diminished coverage or is the reason tied to the latest round of violence aimed at American journalists?
Yahoo News is reporting;
Network Anchors Leave Egypt Following AttacksWith pro-Mubarak mobs attacking journalists, a few top TV news anchors have now left Egypt. "CBS Evening News" anchor Katie Couric appeared Thursday night from New York City, while "NBC Nightly News" anchor Brian Williams headed to Amman, Jordan.
