Evolution: Watch the Japanese Tsunami Travel from Sea to Countryside

The early story in Japan is not necessarily the 8.9 magnitude earthquake, but rather the 23 ft. tsunami it spawned. We've already brought you video of the tidal wave hitting the shore, but below is a video progression showing the tsunami from its genesis in the ocean, to its path of destruction through the cities and countryside. The pictures are incredible.
First, cameras captured the giant tidal wave as it gained strength in the ocean:
As we've already shown you, the wave hit the town of Kamaishi:
Sendai Airport was also no match for the powerful water:
It then started ravaging the countryside, where it was even carrying a floating fireball of debris:
