A Hilsborough County, Florida dad has been arrested after video surfaced this week of him cheering on his son during a violent street fight. The dad, 41-year-old Philip Struthers, was charged with felony child abuse and a misdemeanor count of contributing to the delinquency of a child, the Smoking Gun reports.
In the video, filmed last Thursday afternoon, Struthers's son "Jake" can be seen brawling shirtless with another boy. The fight was apparently over a girl. Philip can be heard in the background yelling, “Knock him out, Jake!” “Punch his eyes out!” “Slam his head on the ground!” and “Punch him, punch him!”
