Shocking NYC 'Execution' Caught on Camera

"I think I've seen at least 15 murders on this block"

One resident has given the Brooklyn, NY street the nickname "body-a-week avenue." But whatever name you give it, it will now forever be stained with the blood of 24-year-old Trevonne Winn, who was gunned down on it on Saturday.

"I've been here since 1989," Shakeem Muhammad, a local resident, told the New York Daily News. "I think I've seen at least 15 murders on this block in that period of time. It's a dangerous block."

That was true this past weekend in what Muhammad said seems like a case of mistaken identity. A surveillance camera caught the horrific incident, which shows Winn, wearing white, standing and talking on his phone. From the curb, a man appears, points a gun, and begins firing. Winn collapses to the ground, struggles momentarily, and then goes limp:

The Daily Mail characterized the shooting as an "execution."

Winn was rushed to the hospital but died of his wounds.
