This morning, we started the news day with a revealing video of a skin cancer PSA talking about the importance of sunscreen and starring Meghan McCain. The video showed supposedly naked women talking about doing things "naked," or without sunscreen. Today, Glenn Beck reacted by lampooning the ad, which has now sparked a stern retort from Meghan's mother, Cindy.
First, Glenn's reaction, which included him pretending to vomit while hearing Meghan's voice:
That prompted Cindy McCain to take to Twitter with some strong words for Beck:
Meghan also responded via Twitter to the rumblings about her ad. She said that people need to just relax, as she didn't film the commercial actually naked:
That may be true. But when you star in a commercial that's supposed to make it look like you're naked, (and tweet after you've filmed it that you were "half naked") don't you open yourself up to controversy and criticism?
