"I got a call at supper time this evening"
On Sunday, Fox News's Chris Wallace asked Michele Bachmann what has since been characterized as an inappropriate question: is she a flake? Wallace quickly realized what he had done, and taped an apology that appeared online. Monday, a reporter asked Bachmann if she accepted that apology. In short, she didn't, and explained why the question was insulting. But that all changed last night.
During an interview with Sean Hannity, Bachmann said that she received a personal phone call from Wallace "at supper time" (the first time she had heard from him "directly") and he apologized. According to her, she was "happy" to accept it and she considers the issue over:
