Obama reassures supporters that debt deal is a win for Dems

From the comfort of his campaign website, President Obama released the following message to supporters, along with written reassurances that Democrats' cherished, bottomless entitlements will go untouched:

From the looks of comments on the site, many of Obama's die-hard supporters aren't too happy with this compromise:

I am a die-hard registered Democrat who gave Obama money for his campaign when I was unemployed and I planned to actually campaign for him this year.  After seeing him cave to the Republicans for the third time now, I am wondering if he even wants to be President again.  As well as, what's the difference between having a Republican in the White House vs. a Democrat who gives the Republicans everything they want?
