Do Americans secretly hate ATMs?

That's the only reason I could imagine the president repeating his claims about eeeevil ATMs stealing jobs from helpless bank tellers and the internet putting travel agencies out of business. Yet Obama repeated these claims today before a town hall audience on a bus tour stop as an example of the challenges of lowering the country's 9% unemployment rate:
