We haven't heard much from Newt Gingrich since the debate last week, but he's hanging in there. Despite reports of money troubles (his campaign was reported to be $1 million in the hole in July) and staff fleeing the campaign in droves, Gingrich is on track to open offices in Iowa and New Hampshire and move field staffers in by mid-October, according to Real Clear Politics.
The former Speaker has also brought on media consultant Lionel Sosa to help with Hispanic outreach and to coach Gingrich on coming across "more likeable."
The latest Gallup poll has Gingrich in 6th place among the other Republican presidential contenders in terms of ballot support.
