So far, HBO's upcoming original movie "Game Change," based on the book which gives an insiders look at candidates who campaigned for president in '08, has cast actors to fill several key roles: John McCain (Ed Harris), Sarah Palin (Julianne Moore) and former Palin adviser Steve Schmidt (Woody Harrelson). Now add one more. Actress Tiffany Thornton will be playing Meghan McCain.
Back in March, McCain wrote in The Daily Beast that she's not exactly expecting a glowing portrayal of her family or Palin in HBO's adaption of the book. And about the authors, John Heilemann and Mark Halperin, she said:
From everything I understood, the interviews that they did land were from disgruntled staffers, rehashing for the most part stories they had not directly witnessed themselves... I have no problem if the people actually there wanted to retell their stories. I do, however, have a problem with reporters who were not present and have an obvious bias capitalizing on things that more than likely never happened.
We've gotta say, there is a slight resemblance between Thorton and McCain. What do you think?
