Herman Cain spoke at the "Values Voter Summit" in Washington, D.C, on Friday and he brought his A-game. He gained about a dozen lengthy standing ovations from several hundred audience members in attendance.
Some are "afraid that this long shot may not be a long shot any longer," Cain said, referencing his recent surge in polls. He also touched on the Second Amendment, the Declaration of Independence ("We've got some altering and some abolishing to do," he said of the current state of the federal government) and the Wall Street protesters. "Wall Street didn't write these failed economic policies," he said. "The White House did. Take your protest to the White House."
Then, of course, Cain touted his "9-9-9" economic plan: "9-9-9 means jobs, jobs jobs."
