Saturday Night Live Takes On Rick Perry's Odd Behavior at NH Speech

Republican presidential candidate Texas Gov. Rick Perry made an appearance on this week's Saturday Night Live weekend update, to clear up an odd speech he made in New Hampshire last week:

If you weren't sure, that in fact was not Gov. Perry but SNL's Bill Hader. The speech SNL poked fun at was made last Friday in Manchester, New Hampshire. When video of Perry's behavior went viral, many critics speculated that the presidential candidate had been inebriated at the Cornerstone Action's Annual Fundraising Dinner.

Perry defended himself last Tuesday, dismissing claims that he had spoke drunk on the campaign trail.

“This was a great crowd, good response, and I guess you can do anything you want with a video and make it look any way you want, but it felt good, felt great,” Perry explained. “I felt the message got across very well.”
